Privacy Policy for Tennis Scorecard & Pickleball Scorecard

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy aims to provide information to users about how user data is handled within the Tennis Scorecard and Pickleball Scorecard apps (collectively referred to as "the apps"). Unless otherwise specified, all policies described in this document apply to both apps.

2. Data Collection, Storage, and Usage

a. Location Data: If granted permission from the user, the apps use location services to display the court location and weather in the match history. The location coordinates are transmitted to the Apple Weather Service to fetch the historical weather for the time and location of the match. The location data is processed and stored locally on device and/or in the user's iCloud account and is deleted if a match is deleted. This data is never transmitted to the app developer.

b. Photo Library Permissions: The apps request write-only access to the user's photo library solely for the purpose of allowing the user to save match screenshots to their Photos app. The apps do not request read access to the user's photo library and does not have access to any existing photos or other content in their library.

c. Health Data: The watchOS apps request permission to read and write health data to display workout activity metrics during a match and to save the workout to Apple Health. The health data accessed by the apps is processed and stored locally on device and/or in the user's iCloud account. This data is never transmitted to the app developer.

d. Other Data: The apps may store other data that is necessary for the proper functioning of the app, such as user-generated content, app-specific settings, and other related information. Any such data is processed and stored locally on device and/or in the user's iCloud account and is never transmitted to the app developer.

3. Sharing Data With Third-Parties

Pickleball Scorecard contains advertisements served by Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect certain information, including:

• IP address, which may be used to estimate the general location of a device.
• Non-user related crash logs, which may be used to diagnose problems and improve the SDK. Diagnostic information may also be used for advertising and analytics purposes.
• User-associated performance data such as app launch time, hang rate, or energy usage, which may be used to evaluate user behavior, understand the effectiveness of existing product features, and plan new features. Performance data may also be used for displaying ads, including sharing with other entities that display ads.
• A Device ID, such as the device's advertising identifier or other app- or developer-bounded device identifiers, which may be used for the purpose of third-party advertising and analytics.
• Advertising data, such as advertisements the user has seen, may be used to power analytics and advertising features.
• Other user product interactions like app launch taps, and interaction information, like video views, may be used to improve advertising performance.

Tennis Scorecard does not contain ads and does not transmit any personally identifiable information to external entities. User data is not sold to third parties.

4. Third-Party Links

The apps contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for the user's convenience and lead to websites that have their own privacy policies. Review the privacy policies of these third-party websites before providing any personal information or using their services.

5. Changes to this Privacy Policy

Updates to this Privacy Policy may be made periodically. Continued use of the apps signifies acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
